What if I told you everything you've ever owned still exists on this planet today?

What if I told you everything you've ever owned still exists on this planet today?

What if I told you everything you want—already exists?

Saw a video from @clutterporch and had to share. This is where your junk ends up. Landfills. Dumping grounds. Someone else’s backyard.

Every purchase has a cost—not just to your wallet, but to the planet.

And no, companies don’t just produce the same amount no matter what. Supply follows demand. Shrink demand, and they’re forced to cut supply. We’re seeing it happen with EVs right now.

The shift is happening:
♻️ Secondhand is becoming the go-to—out of awareness and necessity.
📉 People have less to spend—which ironically pushes them toward more sustainable habits.
🌍 The internet could’ve saved us from so much waste—but capitalism made it do the opposite.

For many, consumption is just a socially acceptable way to numb pain.

This year, I’m opting for gifts with real meaning—handmade, local, lasting. Maybe it’s time we all rethink the way we buy.

What’s one way you’re cutting down on waste this year? Drop your ideas below ⬇️
